Earlier today (Sunday), I received a very pleasant note from a lady who simply signed herself as Angela. At the time of writing, her comment is visible on the right of this site, but it’s otherwise tucked away on a little-visited page. It was so pleasant and complimentary that it deserves a post of its own by way of reply, so…
Angela,
Thank you for writing in and I very much appreciated your kind words. The images on the right of this site change constantly, so it was fortuitous that you saw the one in question and I’m virtually certain it came from the book whose cover is displayed above. It was written by a former contributor to this site by the name of Hugo Jenks and as far as I’m aware, he still runs the Brontovox site. I’m pretty sure he’s also got a video on YouTube with an animation of these constellations, but I’m afraid don’t know where it is.
Otherwise, there have been a great many discussions here about ancient astrology, ancient astrologers, astronomy, modern astronomers, the constellations, “Sky People” and mythological figures from Rome, Greece, ancient Britain and elsewhere. You can browse here to your heart’s content if you wish to, while if you have a specific question, then either myself or else one of the contributors to Eternal Idol will try to answer it for you or point you towards another site that can do so.
To go into even greater detail, Stonehenge was described as a place of doorways, while Dr Robin Melrose has said that he believes the word ‘Druid’ to be connected to the word ‘door’, something I find endlessly fascinating and which has been explored in great but not as yet exhaustive detail elsewhere on this site. It’s all here somewhere, that much is certain, but I’m relying on my memory right now for these details.
I hope all that will be enough to keep you going for a while, so thank you again for your kind words.

Greetings Dennis, In the Welsh language Oak is Dwr whilst in Irish it is Dur [From where we get Durable] The Druids were keepers of the gates or doorways to the otherworld and have always been connected to the Oak.
