BBC Interview – The 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony, Glastonbury, William Blake and Others

by Dennis on June 21, 2012

This Sunday, June 24th, I will be up at 8.40am – an unnaturally early hour for me – but it’s all in a good cause. Those lovely people at BBC Radio Bristol have invited me to take part in a discussion about the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games, William Blake and the Glastonbury legends, so I was very happy to accept.

I don’t know how long I’ll be speaking for, but if this programme and Danny Boyle’s Olympic opening ceremony mean that a wider audience becomes interested in an enchanting aspect of Britain’s past and in a truly magical location in the West Country, then the early start on Sunday will have been more than worthwhile.
